What customers say?

“ Went here for dinner. The location is great. Had vegetarian pizza, veg pasta, garlic bread supreme. Service was very good, staffs are friendly and welcoming. The best part was food. One of the best neapolitan pizza I have had in Belfast. The crust had the perfect texture, mozzarella cheese with the tomato sauce were cooked to perfection. It was a lovely experience. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Belfast. A must visit. ”

“ The pizza was quite large and very tasty. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, they were able to seat us right away. But since we went a bit later in the evening, that might be why if you’re planning to go during busy dinner hours, you should definitely make a reservation. My only criticism is that it was a bit cold inside; the ventilation was blowing too strongly ”

“ I was in the city for just one day and decided to stop by Pizza on the Square — and I’m so glad I did! It’s a cozy place with absolutely delicious pizza. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with a glass of white wine — everything was spot on. The crust was perfectly baked, the toppings were generous, and the flavor was amazing! The staff was friendly and quick, and the warm lighting made the atmosphere really inviting. A perfect spot for a tasty lunch or dinner in the heart of the city. If I ever come back, I’ll definitely visit again! Rating: 5/5 ”

“ We visited whilst on a day trip from Glasgow. Great location right in the centre of Belfast close to where we starting/ending tours and places we wanted to see such as the GoT Studio tour, Titanic Museum and so on. Staff were great, pizzas were fabulous. WE had a couple of different pizzas and plate were spotless. Couldn't fault the experience overall. Would recommend. ”

“ Arrived early for our booking however was able to be seated right away. Restaurant was busy but not really loud which helped make the atmosphere all that better. Beautiful view of the square and a great tourist spot as well. Pizza was some of the best I have had, it was flavourful and delicious. Well cooked and seasoned Although the size was absolutely massive, smaller would have been a bit better to reduce waste. The starter was a bit of a disappointment as it was very 'premade' brie triangles in bread crumbs tasted very much like the party food out of a freezer, meatballs were a little bit grizzly as well but the marinara was beautifully seasoned. The only downside of the experience, I had told them in advance it was my child's birthday and they brought out a lovely mocktail for them thinking it was on the house, only to find out we had been charged £10 for it. Staff attentive and friendly enough and left us alone to eat and weren't over baring which was lovely and appreciated, for a peaceful dining experience. The decor is also absolutely beautiful, if we return to Belfast for a period of time we would definitely come back again ”

“ Was in town today, with the wife and daughter and grandson, decided to call in for something to eat, as had previously been around St. George's market. Called into Pizza on the square, the staff were extremely helpful, as we had the pram to negotiate. They offered us seats which were perfect, and access to the toilet and baby changing room. My wife got the meatballs, a starter, and the garlic bread supreme, which was all that she wanted, the daughter got the dough balls, I opted for the Milano pizza, but without the peppers and salami, but asked for jalapeno in place of. It was well presented, and looked delicious, and was not disappointed. I tried everything, and I have to admit, it was on the mark. The pizza was perfect, the base not being too thick or heavy, the topping well proportioned, and it tasted so good. The same with all the dishes, and the staff are a real bonus as really attentive and polite. Three meals and drinks for under £65, in Belfast, and they also provided some hot water so as to make up the baby's bottle. This is a really good place to dine, coupled with a friendly relaxed atmosphere, no pressure, just enjoyment dining. ”

“ This was a great place to stop!! We had walked around Belfast and wanted to eat before taking the bus back to our ship. We stepped in here, had a great pepperoni pizza and a beer in no time. The pizza is very thin and so very good. Our server was fantastic. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. Stop here if you’re in Belfast and hungry for pizza. ”
